| Fundraising: |
|
Tuition and fees cover only a portion of the total
cost required to educate a student at Hillcrest Academy. As
is with most private schools, this revenue shortfall must
be made up by gifts and contributions. Hillcrest conducts
an Annual Fund Drive, a Fall Festival Cash Raffle ($200 per
family), an Annual Spring Gala and Auction ($200 per couple
with gift donation to the Silent Auction) and other activities
and events to achieve the school's revenue requirements. The
Scrip profit fee along with the proceeds raised from the above
mentioned fundraising activities, all go to support the school's
program.
|
Annual Fund: Contribution
Fall Festival: $200 Raffle Tickets
Gala: Purchase Tickets $200 & Donation |
| |
| Facility Fee |
|
Due July 1 with the first tuition payment. The family
facility fee is applied to maintenance and upkeep of the buildings
and grounds.
|
$250 |
| |
| Scrip Program |
$225 |
A Scrip profit fee of $225 per family is collected
with the September tuition payment. Great Lakes Scrip is a
national organization that provides gift certificates to participating
institutions. By purchasing the gift certificates from Hillcrest
at no extra cost, the school receives a percentage of each
purchase. Families who generate $225 in profit to the school
do not pay the Scrip fee the following school year.
